TEACHING

As an educator, Veni taught seniors in the LSU School of Art Graphic Design program, many of whom went on to win regional recognition for work executed under her guidance. Her syllabus focused on integrated communications with actual clients design challenges. Her class partnered with CCELL (Center for Community Engagement, Learning & Leadership), Graduate Marketing, and LBTC (Louisiana Business & Technology Center). In addition, the classes were CXC (Communication Across the Curriculum) certified to improve written, oral, visual, and technological communication skills. Nearly all class clients (ex: Louisiana Old State Capitol, Cat Haven, Delta Service Corps) adopted the work created by student teams. Veni also taught Apple software applications to students at Baton Rouge Community College.
