Barq's Beverages

 

I grew up in the soft drink business—a story to itself. As a designer, I created various business related items—point of purchase materials, vehicle graphics, and modification of the original brand and packaging to identify Louisiana Barq's products. The last family-owned territory was sold in 1999. Twenty-five years later, I had our 1940s neon sign restored by Big Sexy Neon and created a display containing historic artifacts and ephemera. Both were installed at the Southern Food & Beverage Museum in New Orleans in March of 2024.
